Hang on to your hats kids, it’s going to be all over the place today. (really though, everything has a central theme of learning, I’m so after-school special sometimes)

First, Sprog’s gf sent him a text message yesterday saying she wanted them to be over, just like that. There was no indication of anything wrong between them, no fighting, and their typical kiss goodbye before the bus. He has tried to find out why but she hasn’t responded to his questions. Being me, I responded to this by letting him drive my car in a school parking lot at 9 o’clock last night; he pepped right up. He also told me that he needs more practice driving before having to deal with distracting noises, that would be my voice folks. HAHA. God, I love that child. He did pretty well, but I’m glad it was in a parking lot, and not on the streets, given that in this country we drive on the right.

Second, I learned about marriage over at Sam’s Stories the other day watching a Sesame Street video and I think some other people in this country could stand to watch this video too.

and now for something completely different, Sprog came home last night talking about a teacher in Ohio. He went ON and ON about how he made videos for Spanish set to JT songs. He was so stricken by these videos in class, that he went and looked them up last night and showed them to us. I don’t think it’s been any secret the lazy with which my son is afflicted but he actually cared about school AT HOME because of his videos. I learned something about Reflexive and Non-Reflexive and I have never even taken Spanish, because of his videos, so kudos to you teacher from Ohio dude.

That girl needs a slap upside the head. You do not break up via text. Ever.

And I heart Sesame Street. They are so awesome.

I'm a 30-something mother of 1 boy and 3 large fur-babies, with an unhealthy addiction to fashion, decorating, shoes, photography, music and the internets. I blather on more in the "about me" section and well, in every blog post, that after all is the nature of the beast, is it not?
