“Nougatocity \nü-gat-ä-si-tE\(noun). A heightened yet fleeting state of accomplishment that makes you realize how unbelievably unmotivated you normally are.”

This coming from a snickers bar wrapper (the candy bar that puts you in this unbelievably unmotivated state in the first place).

This is my first blog evah so please go easy on me.

Not only have I experienced “nougatocity” myself, I’m also craving a Snickers - I think that makes your first post a success!

Thanks to you (and Snickers), I’ve learned something today:

I somehow managed to survive nearly 31 years of life thinking that “nougat” referred strictly to the chewy, fluffy, marshmallow-ey nastiness contained in such abominations as Milky Way and Three Musketeer bars, thus leading me to often proclaim my hate for the substance.

As you can imagine, this made the Snickers blurb rather confusing to me at first, forcing me to visit Wikipedia to learn the error of my ways. Who would have thought that “nougat” had such a broad definition?!?

Now I just might need to find myself a “I heart (some) nougat” t-shirt, because Snickers is my third favorite type of candy bar treat (behind Reese’s and Twix, of course).

So just think…your first blog post has inspired me to change my entire viewpoint on nougat as a whole! If that’s not a good enough reason to post more, I don’t know what is. :)

HI SPROG!!!!!

Thanks for the information, sass (”the candy bar that puts you in this unbelievably unmotivated state in the first place”), and for making me crave Snickers.

Come back again soon, and give your mom some love for me.

  • About Me

I'm a 30-something mother of 1 boy and 3 large fur-babies, with an unhealthy addiction to fashion, decorating, shoes, photography, music and the internets. I blather on more in the "about me" section and well, in every blog post, that after all is the nature of the beast, is it not?
